the dr. bernard juby ex-libris prize

The Dr. Bernard Juby Prize is a single independent competition offered under the umbrella of the Confraternity of Our Lady, St. Luke and the White Shield, by colleagues and friends of the late Dr. Bernard Juby, a Distinguished Companion of the Confraternity who was instrumental in helping set up the Livre d'Or offered on the society's website by compiling and offering many biographies of the master heraldic artists who established and built the reputation of this beautiful art form, through the centuries

The competition target was to design a suitable Bookplate in memory of Dr. Juby DCWS. There were ten entries for the prize, from heraldic artists around the globe and an independent panel of four judges who volunteered  to undertake the very difficult task of deciding from the excellent examples submitted, who the two winners would be.
